I'm Eric Dormer — a Canadian engineer and business owner based in Ottawa. I've run my own one-person operations and built several small businesses from scratch. I know the feeling: you're doing the actual work, and the phone rings. You can't answer it. The caller hangs up and dials your competitor. That business is gone before you even knew it existed.
Traditional answering services don't solve this. All they do is write down a phone number and promise a callback.
